If you are currently a student at Health Careers Academy (HCA), HCA offers a nursing pathway that leverages dual enrollment with San Joaquin Delta College.

Upon high school graduation, students will be competitive candidates for the Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) program. This program is called the Helping Our People Elevate (HOPE) program developed by Dr. Anitra Williams and Julie Kay. For more information, please contact your school administrator.

Under CA SB 554, as a current high school student, you are able to enroll as a special part-time student at a community college.
California Senate Bill 554
California Senate Bill 554 authorizes the governing board of a school district overseeing an adult education program or the governing board of a community college district overseeing a noncredit* program to authorize a student pursuing a high school diploma or a high school equivalency certificate to enroll as a special part-time student at a community college.
