CARES GRANT FOR SAN JOAQUIN DELTA COLLEGE STUDENTS

The CARES Emergency Grant Application for Fall 2020 is now open for Delta College Students. These grants are for students to help cover expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to coronavirus. Limited funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis.




HALLOWEEN & DÍA DE LOS MUERTO SAFETY GUIDE

CDPH released a guideline that outlines safer alternative ways to celebrate Halloween and Día de los Muertos during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. COVID-19 continues to pose a severe risk to communities and requires all Californians to follow necessary precautions. CDPH strongly discourages mixing of households and trick-or-treating.

GoGo manages modern transportation & delivery services like Uber for the 50+. You can order a ride or groceries for home delivery with a phone call. No smartphone needed. To keep your loved ones notified, add their contact information to account. They will get a text message with details about the driver and car, and when the ride started and ended.




RESTAURANTS CARE

Restaurants Care provides one-time financial support to restaurant employees facing an unforeseen hardship due to COVID-19. Priority is given to workers who are diagnosed with COVID-19, a caregiver to an immediate family member who has been diagnosed, or the restaurant is closed and out of work 3 weeks or more and no unemployment benefits.
