FREE LAPTOPS FOR HOMELESS STUDENTS
The Roya Foundation’s Homeless & Youth Homelessness Project is donating laptops with internet access to local homeless K-12 and college students. The Tracy-based foundation is a non-pofit that provides humanitarian, educational assistance, healthcare and medical aid for the betterment of the lives of children globally.
DAILY LIFE AND GOING OUT GUIDES
Center for Disease Control has step-by-step guides and precautions on how to safely go out. You can find guides on how to take precautions when running essential errands like grocery shopping and getting gas, or how to safely visit the beach.
HOUSING FOR HARVEST
Housing for the Harvest, provides safe, temporary isolation spaces for agricultural and farmworkers who test positive or were exposed to the virus. This program will operate in partnership with counties and local partners in the Central Valley, Central Coast, and Imperial Valley – the regions with the highest number of agricultural workers.
EMPLOYER PLAYBOOK FOR SAFE REOPENING
The State updated its an Employer Playbook for Safe Reopening to help employers in navigating reopening and responding to virus outbreaks in the workplace. It provides detailed information to assist in identifying employees with positive COVID-19 tests, communicating with other employees, and strategies in preventing outbreaks.
